Iran Protest 2012 Olympics Logo

Olympics will take place in London, England, 2012. Britain also has set a logo that will be used during the prestigious sporting event. However, the Olympic logo was chosen to protests. Iran is a country that declared the rejection of the logo which was considered racist.

As reported by AP, on Tuesday (1 / 3), Iran thinks pink logo with yellow shadows that reads "Zion". The word is closely associated with Jerusalem, Israel. Secretary General of Iran's National Olympics Committee Bahram Afsharzade said, "This logo when read from top to bottom that read Zion. This is very disappointing Muslims. We called on other Islamic countries to protest."

Meanwhile, when read with the reverse direction, the 2012 Olympics logo reads "Izzo" is a single rapper Jay Z. Kontan, Olympic logo has also drawn protests copyright. Fans of Jay-Z also expressed his disappointment towards the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that uses a single name as a logo of their favorite artists.
