National Anthem at the Olympic Games

2012 Olympics barely appeared on the firmament London, England. Starting on July 27, grand sports festival that will include more than 200 countries will be ended on August 12.

However, this performance does not merely about the contest led to sweat. There is a special aspect that makes the greatness competition increasingly echoing. The element is the music, which takes the form of the national anthem. So, sometimes the tones of a national hymn able to foster compassion listeners.   1. British national anthem "God Save the King" is considered attributed to Henry Carey, a composer from the early mid 18th century. Many people assume that the work was done by George Frideric Handel, Henry Purcell or even Jean-Baptiste de Lully.
  2. Few composition written by famous composers. Charles-François Gounod created the national anthem of the Vatican; poet Rabindranath Tagore created a national song of India and Bangladesh; Franz Joseph Haydn prepare a composition for the German national anthem.
  3. German national anthem is prohibited after the year 1945 due to have the lyrics "Deutschland über Alles" (Germany above all), referring to national unity which is in charge of local loyalty. Now, the song became the national anthem of united Germany. However, used only a third stanzas.
  4. Greece is a country that has the longest national anthem in the world. With a poem written by poet Dionysios Solomos, the composition has 158 stanzas.
  5. Colombia, Senegal, Belgium and Ecuador have a national anthem with lyrics that are written by the prime minister or president.
  6. Japanese national anthem recorded has the oldest lyric, written by an anonymous author from the 9th century.
  7. Some of national anthem of the Middle East did not contain the words. Qatar national anthem is the shortest with 32 seconds. However, now that song has been developed.
  8. Anthem Congo asked, "If we must die / does it really mean?" Meanwhile, the opening lines of national anthem of Ukraine: "Ukraine has not perished."
  9. Composer national anthem of Costa Rica, Manuel Maria Gutierrez, struck down into the prison in 1853 and released after he found a more appropriate style.
  10. Spain became one of country with national anthem that did not include the words. In 2007, there was a contest to write lyrics for the song.
